Hydrochlorofluorocarbon (HCFC) Propellants & Blowing Agents

Hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) are low ozone depletion potential (ODP) replacements for chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs). Introduced in the 1990s as a replacement for CFCs, they have been largely phased out and in 2020, Fluorchem ended production of HCFCs in accordance with the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer and Canada's phase-out policy.
