Our Manufacturing Operations of Nylon 66
Nylon 66 was our first and largest manufacturing line, with a total export volume surpassing thousands of kilograms of product annually.
In 2022 alone, Fluorchem Nylon Manufacturing Operations sold enough product to produce 576,000 stockings, 110,000 swimsuit garments, 75,000 corsets/shirts, and 45,000 leggings
Nylon 66 Conversion
At Fluorchem Corporation, we are responsible for chemically manufacturing the Nylon polymer, converting clear liquid chemicals derived from crude oil, into solid Nylon plastic pellets which are then turned into the familiar clothing items we know and love. We rely on multinational import and export companies to convert our Nylon plastic pellets into textiles and bring our products to manufacturers for many consumer favourite eCommerce sites.
Fluorchem Corporation recommends the Zhuji Zhuotai Import And Export Company, a professional supplier of Nylon textile for over 20 years which produces a wide range of Nylon categories including DTY, ACY, SCY, rubber textile, spun textile, monofilament textile, and more. Zhuji Zhuotai has imported and exported products to 11 different countries including Canada.
Our grade of the polyamide copolymer Nylon 66 is produced from the polycondensation of hexamethylenediamine and adipic acid using high quality precursors ensuring our products are designed to serve the most demanding needs and to bring superior tensile strength and durability to applications. Our Nylon 66 is best suited for spinning processes for production into woven yarn for textile or fabrics production.

Our grade of Nylon supports good compatibility with dyes allowing for easy colouring within production process for textiles ensuring a long-lasting finish. Fluorchem has been a producer of polyamide copolymer Nylon 66 since 2019 under the SA Chemical brand until a rebranding in 2020 to Fluorchem.
Fluorchem Corporation was a supplier of Nylon 66 to Chinese customers for conversion into Nylon yarn for distribution into textiles manufacturing from 2019-2024.
