Zero ODP HFCs
Hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) are reduced GWP propellants and solvents. They were developed to be non-ozone depleting alternatives to chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) and hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs).
Low ODP HCFCs
Hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) were developed in the 1990s to replace highly ozone depleting chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) across many applications including as blowing agents and propellants and solvents. Fluorchem ended HCFC production in 2020.
PFAS Propellants
Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) have been used as highly inert, non-ozone depleting and nonflammable alternatives to CFCs, HCFCS and HFCs for use as propellants and solvents.
