Fluorchem HCFCs
Fluorchem HCFCs
Hydrochlorofluorocarbon-225cb (HCFC-225cb) is a second generation clean agent solvent designed to provide an alternative to highly ozone depleting chlorofluorocarbons, like R-113 (1,1,2-Trichloro-1,2,2-trifluoroethane). HCFCs were developed in the 1990s to replace CFCs to help reduce ozone depletion. Modern innovations and advancements have allowed for a phase out of HCFCs through the Montreal protocol. Fluorchem ended HCFC-22 production in 2020.
Fluorchem is no longer manufacturing or offering Hydrochlorofluorocarbon-225cb in compliance with the Montreal Protocol on Substances That Deplete the Ozone Layer and Canada's phase-out policy.
